Vogel Tool & Die, the first manufacturer to introduce pipe notching equipment to the industry, watched this week's inaugural festivities with extra interest. Vogel built tooling for one DC area contractor who constructed the reviewing stands that held thousands of the spectators who witnessed President Obama's becoming our nation's 44th President. In addition Vogel Arc-Fit pipe notching tools were used to build many of the temporary fences, barriers and crowd-control devices used throughout the city to help deal with the record-breaking crowds.
