GLEN ELLYN, IL –Attendees at the recent FENCETECH’09/DECKTECH’09 in New Orleans positively ranked their experience at the world’s largest fence, deck, railing, and perimeter security show, produced annually by the American Fence Association.
In a survey, nearly 80 percent of respondents ranked the exhibits good or excellent. About 68 percent of those who attended the educational seminars found them to be good or excellent, and 98 percent rated the personal value of the seminars as good, very good, or excellent. About 85 percent of respondents thought the show hours were satisfactory.
Exhibitors also had positive reviews of the show, with 53 percent rating the quality of attendees as good or excellent. Despite lower than average attendance, one exhibitor commented, “There seemed to be more heavy hitters than tire kickers this year.”
In addition, exhibitors overwhelmingly thought show management was effective, with 75 percent reporting good or excellent service and 71 percent rating the overall production, performance, and promotion of the show as good or excellent. One exhibitor said, “I wish show management at all the shows we exhibit at were as helpful, prompt, and courteous as Maria Prior and Lisa Williamson have been.”
