“We thought that we could have some fun with our own clash-4-clunker program, so part of the rebate requirement is that the installer has to show proof that the new system purchased actually replaced an older system in the market. The idea was to get older, pre 2000 era gate operators replaced with newer products, which are much safer because of the UL 325 requirements now in place.” Once all the requirements are met, DoorKing will send a rebate check directly to the installation company.
