Giving a Wink to Pink at Ontario Events

This spring, there will be a noticeable difference at many construction sites throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario: Bright pink perimeter fencing.

Southern Ontario-based Fast Fence Inc. has lauched their new Perimeter PINK program by expanding their range of temporary fence products to include pink chain link fencing, all to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Ontario Region. In addition to the regular benefits of fencing at construction sites, the bright pink colour provides added site prominence for passersby, and greater visibility to heavy equipment operators over traditional galvanized silver-coloured chain link fencing.

Brent Newburg, Operations Manager for Fast Fence Inc., is excited about this new program. “As a family-run organization, we’ve always made a commitment to support worthwhile causes in our community. Like many others, our family has a personal connection to breast cancer, and we wanted a meaningful way to support breast cancer research and initiatives. This program helps us to do that.”

“The great part for our customers is that there is no cost for them to participate – all they have to do is agree to allow us to install a pink fence at their site, and we’ll contribute 10% of their rental fees to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.”

Fast Fence Inc.’s pink chain link panels are constructed of sturdy, galvanized steel mesh and tubing and are perfect for construction and demolition sites, emergency or disaster scenes, propane compounds, tree protection, material storage and residential renovations. Panels are available for rental and purchase.

Pink Fence

Fast Fence Inc. has been serving Southern Ontario’s temporary fence needs for over 15 years. They carry a wide variety of temporary fence products for construction sites, residential renovations, and special events.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1986 as the first organization in the country devoted exclusively to the funding of breast cancer research, education and awareness initiatives. The Foundation continues to blaze new trails in breast cancer and breast health by directing donor dollars to world-class researchers and clinicians who are contributing to groundbreaking progress in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care; and to community organizations for unique local initiatives with impact. Since 2000, the Foundation has directed more than $50 million to the cause in Ontario alone as a result of fundraising initiatives like our signature event, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, and the efforts of a committed volunteer network numbering in the thousands.
