Merchants Metals Announces New National Credit Manager

Houston, TX, November 10, 2006 - Houston, TX - James H. Clem has been named National Credit Manager for Merchants Metals. The announcement was made by Greg Mabry, chief financial officer of Merchants Metals, a division of MMI Products, Inc.

As National Credit Manager, Clem will manage all functions within the Merchants Metals credit department, which is located in the Houston corporate office.

He is a native Houstonian, Clem has over 25 years of experience in credit management. His diversified experience is supported by management positions held at Halliburton, Keystone Valves and Controls, Intsel and Weirton Steel companies, as well as Summit Electric Supply. He holds a Certified Credit Executive (CCE) designation from the National Association of Credit Management as well as a B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from National University in San Diego, CA. He also spent three distinguished years with the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 2nd Class.
