Rotary Gate Systems Unveils New Residential Slide Gate Operator

Rotary Gate Systems unveiled its new residential slide gate operator at Fencetech 2010 held in Orlando, Fl., as being “just as reliable and durable as the other operators in our line while being more affordable to the average homeowner”. The new operator, the SL-1000R, uses the same technology as the commercial and industrial versions, including the Linear Apex controller with user friendly interface and easy programming. The SL-1000R is the latest addition to the complete lineup of slide gate operators from RGS.

Rotary Gate Systems also introduced its manual release for the commercial and industrial versions of their slide gate operator. This simple design combines a lockable cap with an easy to turn cam release for effortless disengagement of the drive mechanism with no tools. A remote release feature will be available in the near future to meet local code requirements for an external emergency release.
